SP121 plastic scintillators are used for Alpha-ray and Beta-ray measurement. SP121 plastic scintillator is actually SP102 coated with a certain thickness of ZnS(Ag) on the surface, the thickness is 4.5 mg/cm2. The SP102 is used to measure Beta-ray, ZnS(Ag) is used to measure Alpha-ray, and the appropriate thickness of the ZnS(Ag) coating can just absorbs the Alpha-ray. We use advanced spraying technology to make the ZnS(Ag) coating, which makes the SP121 scintillators has an excellent homogeneity and uniformity.
