LYSO(Ce) Ce doped Yttrium lutetium silicate crystal has the advantages of high density, high light yield, fast decay time and high energy resolution. The gamma-ray detector made of LYSO(Ce) crystal has a very wide application prospect in the fields of nuclear medicine imaging, high energy physics, nuclear physics and so on. It is the core detection component of the new generation Positron Emission Tomography (PET).
OST Photonics can manufacture LYSO(Ce) arrays according to our customers' different design options in terms of pixel size, the number of pixels, reflector materials and crystal surface finishes. Our 2-D LYSO(Ce) arrays are usually used with pixelated photodiodes, position sensitive photo multiplier tubes (PSPMT) and silicon photomultipliers (SiPM). We offer a variety of design options and reflector materials to optimize the array performance for the special application. Our manufacturing process can ensure high light output as well as excellent pixel to pixel uniformity with minimal crosstalk. Furthermore, offset LYSO(Ce) arrays (multilayer LYSO(Ce) arrays) are also available upon requests.
