The fast component of pure CsI cesium iodide scintillator has a fast decay time of 16ns and a peak emission wavelength of 315nm. It can be used in situations requiring fast time response, such as the electromagnetic calorimeter in the electron-positron collider. In addition, it also has strong anti-radiation performance.
